Farm Genetics
Our original breeder buck and does came from Minnesota over 20 years ago. In 2003 we started our artificial breeding program. Since that time, we have stayed true to the big cleaner bucks. Never chasing the highest score, or the ‘flavor of the year’ that the big breeders were using. Instead, we chose bucks with long tines and beams, not caring about the name, just the production.
In 2011 we introduce some typical Texas genetics to our herd. We had only 2 bucks born from the TX cross in 2012, but they both had great width and lots of long Typical tines. We continue to breed with big northern and southern bucks.
